Party leader Baudet (FVD) asks parliamentary questions about Dutch public broadcaster NPO programme Sekspedia

NPO broadcaster BNNVARA launched the programme Sekspedia in May 2023. According to the broadcaster, there is an "overly conservative body of thought about sex” in our society. It sets out to change that. The series is explicitly visual: porn actors provide instructions on numerous sexual acts for a target group as young as 16.

The public broadcaster describes the program as an "explicit, educational online series [...] that gives young adults a representative picture of what sex is really like." According to the public broadcaster, that includes rimming, anal sex and the use of strap-on dildos. Only one-third of the videos show sexual acts between man and woman; the remaining two-thirds between man and man or woman and woman.

The programme was controversial when a new series of videos was published in January 2024. Forum for Democracy believes it is of great importance for society and for young people's personal happiness that they learn how to start a beautiful, stable family - rather than how to perform rimming, lick pussy or give a blowjob. Especially when tax money is spent on this. FVD party leader Thierry Baudet is therefore asking Parliamentary questions to the Minister of Education and the Secretary of State for Culture and Media.
